Setting Up Ledger Live

1. Open Ledger Live:

After installation, open the Ledger Live application on your computer.

2. Get Started:

In the Ledger Live interface, select "Get Started" to begin the setup process.

3. Choose Your Ledger Device:

Select the model of your Ledger hardware wallet (Ledger Nano S, Ledger Nano X, etc.).

4. Connect Your Device:

Use the provided USB cable to connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer.

5. Initialize Your Ledger Device:

Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Ledger device. This includes choosing a PIN code and writing down your 24-word recovery phrase. The recovery phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if the device is lost or damaged. Keep it safe and never share it with anyone.

6. Confirm Your Recovery Phrase:

Ledger Live will prompt you to confirm your recovery phrase to ensure it was recorded correctly.

Using Ledger Live

1. Dashboard Overview:

Once set up, the Ledger Live dashboard provides an overview of your portfolio, including balances and recent transactions for each added account.

2. Add Accounts:

To add cryptocurrency accounts, navigate to the "Accounts" section and click "Add account." Select the cryptocurrency you want to manage and follow the prompts to add the account.

3. Send and Receive Cryptocurrency:

To send cryptocurrency, go to the "Send" tab, select the account you want to send from, and enter the recipient's address and amount. Confirm the transaction on your Ledger device. To receive cryptocurrency, go to the "Receive" tab, select the account you want to receive into, and display your address to the sender. Confirm the address on your Ledger device.

4. Manage Apps:

In the "Manager" section, you can install and uninstall apps for different cryptocurrencies on your Ledger device. Ensure you have the necessary apps installed to manage your desired cryptocurrencies.

5. Monitor Transaction History:

View detailed transaction history for each of your cryptocurrency accounts in the "Accounts" section.
